GG’s Rockin’ Flavors

Grilled Shrimp Salad

  • 1/2 lb of fresh Shrimp ( peeled, deveined, and washed)
  • 1 teaspoon of GG’s Creole Seasoning
  • Mixed Greens and Romaine Lettuce
  • 1/2 of cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of Mandarin Oranges
  • 1/2 cup of fresh Strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of Walnuts

Preheat grill or skillet. In a separate bowl, add shrimp,GG’s Creole Seasoning and olive oil. Cook shrimp until lightly pink or to your liking. Create the salad in a bowl by adding Mixed Greens, Cherry Tomatoes, Mandarin Oranges, Strawberries, Walnuts, and your favorite dressing. Remove shrimp from skillet and add to salad. Serve with you favorite beverage.

Signature Burger

  • 1lb of Lean Ground Beef
  • 3 tablespoons of bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup of onions
  • 1 teaspoon of GG’s Creole Seasoning
  • 10 baby portabello mushrooms (optional)
  • 4 slices of baby Swiss cheese (or you favorite cheese)
  • 4 fresh buns
  • GG’s Remoulade Sauce

Combine meat, bread crumbs, egg, and creole seasoning. Mix well and shape into four burgers . In a separate skillet, slice mushrooms and saute in a little olive oil. Preheat grill and lightly oil grill. Cook meat on both sides for approximately 12 minutes or to your liking. add cheese on meat. When cheese have melted, remove from grill. On a toasted bun, add GG’s Remoulade Sauce on each side, Lettuce, two slices of vine-riped tomatoes, and sauteed mushrooms. Serve with your favorite side and beverage.

Jambalaya

  • 2 cups long grain white rice (parboiled works better)
  • ½ pound ham, chopped
  • 1/2 pound of andouille sausage
  • 1 ½ teaspoon GG’s Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 cup celery, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons chilli pepper
  • ½ cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 ½ cups broth (preferred) or water

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat butter. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, and celery. Sauté until tender on medium heat. Add flour, sire, reduce heat. Add 2 ½ cups water, stir until smooth. Increase heat. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat. Let simmer, until your rice is tender.

TIP: To make it special, add shrimp or chicken.

GG’s Fabulous Fish

  • 4 Fillets of Fish – Tilapia or Catfish work best
  • GG’s Bodacious Creole Seasoning
  • Olive Oil
  • Water
  • Thin Slices of Onion- 2 per Fillet (optional)

Cover the bottom of a pan with approximately ¼ inch of water to keep the fish from drying out. Rinse the fish and rub each fillet with a little olive oil, place in the pan. Sprinkle enough GG’s Bodacious Creole Seasoning to cover each fillet. Add the onion slices if desired. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until done. Cooking times vary depending on individual ovens and the thickness of the fillets.

GG’s Creole Tomatoes Ooh La La

  • 2 Large Tomatoes
  • GG’s Bodacious Creole Seasoning
  • Olive Oil
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Sliced Havarti Cheese
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)

CCut tomatoes into thick slices and place into a pan. Sprinkle each tomato with GG’s Bodacious Creole Seasoning and lightly drizzle olive oil over tomatoes. Place one basil leaf on each tomato slice. Add a slice of Havarti cheese and top with Parmesan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Cooking times may vary. Tomatoes should be slightly cooked, but not falling apart, and cheese should be melted. Serves 4 as an appetizer.
